The Ingredients:

  • 12 oz Bisquick Baking Mix
  • 10.5 oz can Cheddar Cheese Soup
  • 6 oz Water
  • 16 oz (1#) Breakfast Sausage
  • 6 oz Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 oz can Diced Green Chiles

The Ingredients:

  • 3 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can Cheddar Cheese Soup
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 1 (1#) tube Breakfast Sausage
  • 3/4 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 (4 oz) can Diced Green Chiles

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • 2. Cook sausage and drain excess grease.
  • 3. Stir together Bisquick, Cheddar Cheese Soup and Water until just combined.
  • 4. Mix in Sausage, Cheddar Cheese and Green Chiles.
  • 5. Fill muffin liners 3/4 full. Recipe makes 10 large or 12 small muffins.
  • 6. Bake 20-25 minutes, until golden brown or reaches 206°F internal temperature.
  • 7. Serve warm - or pack them up for later!

Pantry-Friendly Swaps

  • No green chiles? Try them with chives.
  • No sausage handy? Sub in ham or bacon or skip the meat for a cheesy vegetarian version.
  • No shredded cheddar on hand? Swap out with pepper jack, Monterey jack or Colby jack cheese
