Everything comes together in a single bowl — no mixers, no extra dishes — just a straightforward batter that bakes into a soft, flavorful loaf topped with a buttery, crumbly streusel.

The Streusel Topping

Bread Ingredients

  • 2.66 oz Butter, melted (1/3 cup)
  • 184 g Granulated Sugar (3/4 cup)
  • 1 Egg
  • 12 g Molasses (2 tsp)
  • 8-10 oz Ripe Bananas (3 bananas)
  • 220 g Flour (1 1/2 cup)
  • 6 g Baking Soda (1 tsp)
  • 3 g Baking Powder (1 tsp)
  • 3 g Salt (1/2 tsp)

Streusel Ingredients

  • 2 oz Butter, melted (1/4 cup)
  • 70 g Flour (1/2 cup)
  • 100 g Granulated Sugar (1/2 cup)
  • 1/16 tsp Ground Cinnamon

How to Make It

  • 1. In a microwave safe bowl, melt butter.
  • 2. Mix in Sugar.
  • 3. Add in Egg & Molasses and stir till smooth.
  • 4. Add in your Flour, Soda, Powder & Salt. Mix till just incorporated.
  • 5. Using a 1.5 lb loaf pan, spray with White Cap non-stick spray and fill with batter.
  • 6. Rinse your bowl and reuse for streusel.
  • 7. Melt Butter, then add in dry ingredients and mix till coarse crumble.
  • 8. Top loaf with streusel crumble and bake at 350° for 20 minutes, rotate and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 205°.
